46Solutions Named Small Business of the Year

Commerce Lexington announces overall winner of their Salute to Small Business category awards.

Lexington, Kentucky (September 5, 2023) – 46Solutions, a proud member of the Davis H. Elliot (Elliot) Family of Brands, celebrated a momentous achievement as it was named the 2023 Commerce Lexington Small Business of the Year.  The prestigious award was presented during the Salute to Small Business Luncheon at the Central Bank Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  In addition to this honor, 46Solutions also received the Business Success Award, recognizing organizations that demonstrate exceptional business and civic leadership qualities.  Commerce Lexington, the awarding body, considers community involvement, sound management practices, financial performance, and workplace culture among the primary criteria for this coveted accolade.

Founded in 2019 by Bob Fronk, Vice President of Information Technology, 46Solutions initially emerged to meet the growing demand from Elliot’s clients for IT services, tailored to small and medium-sized businesses.  Since its inception, the company has flourished, boasting a workforce of nearly 50 professionals providing a diverse range of business IT and home entertainment technology services across Central Kentucky and beyond.

Reflecting on the company’s journey, Fronk remarked, “We started this company with nine employees, and it has been an overwhelming experience to watch it grow to where it is today and to see the opportunities it provides people to support their families.  This award is a credit to the amazing work our team does each day and the way they support each other and our customers.”

David Haskins, President/CEO of Elliot, echoed these sentiments, stating, “What makes me most proud about this accomplishment is our team at 46Solutions.  We encouraged them to start the business so we could provide more opportunities for the talented team we had built, and it has been a blessing to see them create opportunities for so many others as the business has grown. I could not be more proud of them.”

Despite the accolades, Wil Winstead, Director of IT Operations and Administration for 46Solutions, maintains a focus on the company’s core values, emphasizing, “We are an employee-owned company, and our focus must remain on the people.  We sell the same products and software as our competitors and provide many of the same services.  What makes us different is how we treat our team members, how they treat our customers and the relationships we build with businesses and homeowners to help them achieve their goals.”
